HRM Edmund Maduabebe Daukoru holds a Phd in Geology from Imperial College London. Prior to his appointment on the Board, he had over 30 years experience in the Oil industry working with both Shell and NNPC. He was appointed as the Minister of State for Petroleum in 2005, before which he was appointed as the Adviser to the President on Petroleum and Energy. His vast experience and goodwill continues to be an asset to the group. He is presently a member of the COSG Board Implementation Committee.
