Mr. Mina Oforiokuma

A renowned maritime authority, Mr. Mina Oforiokuma has carved an esteemed reputation within Nigeria’s industrial landscape. His leadership roles span various board positions in both the maritime and petroleum sectors. Notably, he serves as the Chairman of the Shipping and Logistics Sectoral Working Group of the NIGERIAN CONTENT CONSULTATIVE FORUM (NCCF). His tenure as a Governing Council member of the NIGERIAN CONTENT DEVELOPMENT AND MONITORING BOARD (NCDMB) from 2016 culminated in his role as the Chairman of its Finance Committee for two years until June 2023, when the boards of all Federal Government Parastatals, Agencies, Institutions, and Government-Owned Companies were dissolved. Boasting over three decades of diverse corporate experience, Mr. Oforiokuma has consistently demonstrated excellence in leadership, adeptly managing personnel, operations, and financial portfolios. His expertise encompasses Offshore Marine operations, the intricate facets of the Oil, Gas & Renewable Value Chain, Asset Management, and the execution of Oil & Gas projects across Africa. Educated at the University of Buckingham, England, Mr. Oforiokuma earned a degree in Politics, Economics & Law (PEL). He initiated his professional journey with the NIGERIAN INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT BANK (NIDB) in the late 1980s. He subsequently founded a pioneering firm that excelled in rig-to-shore integrated communications networks, partnering with industry giants such as YINKA FOLAWIYO PETROLEUM.
