Fleet Ownership and Management History

As an owner and operator of vessels Caverton Marine has owned operated and chartered a diverse fleet of vessels including the following:

Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessels.
Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessels (or AHTS) carry out operations for positioning, maintaining and moving oil and gas platforms. They are equipped with powerful engines and winches and can tow drilling rigs, position and lift anchors, and deploy a range of equipment necessary for oil production.
Platform Supply Vessels.
PSV take equipment and special products to offshore platforms. In addition to a large deck area for the transport of all types of equipment, including extra-large and non-standard dimension packages, they offer sizable storage capacity.
LPG/C Awero
built 1977, 2,088MT dwt
currently Nigeria’s only LPG carrier. Trading between offshore Lagos and Calabar on hire mainly to Le Global Oilfield Services.
MT Ashabi
Built 1996, 499MT dwt
petroleum tanker on time charter to Shell Trading and Shipping Company
MT Lolade
Built 1998, 4999 dwt
Petroleum tanker on time charter to Shell Trading and Shipping Company
LPG/c Bluegas
5,000cbm LPG Tanker, lightering (feeder) LPG vessel to NLNG appointed LPG off-takers big enough for ship to ship (STS) operations with mother vessel and small enough to discharge into LPG marine depots in Nigeria
